The NASA Texas region American Iron and Camaro/Mustang Challenge
series held it's annual
awards banquet at Poppa Rollas in Waco Texas. The banquet was well attended,
with competitors,
friends, family and a NASA Texas and series officials.

Jeff Burch, Michael Mosty, Jeff Wirtz and Jay Jordan for Team Jordan.

Racer Wife of the Year is awarded to Debbie Warren presented
by James Proctor.
James blew a clutch disc Friday afternoon and couldn't find a local replacement.
Debbie, at home late Friday night, rumaged around in a pile of parts and drove
almost 100 miles to
deliver the part. This allowed James to keep his 3rd place position in points.
A few "Special" awards ...
Al Fernandez was awarded ... well, it's obvious.

Glenn received the Jeff Gordon "Candy Ass" award

And Todd Covini recieves the "Fartherest off, can't
see him from any corner worker station and
longest period of time to get the car repaired" award presented by Martin
and Misty Cain.

Congratulations to all the 2008 NASA Texas competitors.
It was a great and safe year.
Let's do it again in 2009!
